The Alcon® “AIR OPTIX® COLORS SELFIE” (the "Prize Draw") is open to individuals who have fully registered for a free trial of AIR OPTIX® COLORS contact lenses. Alcon® employees and employees of affiliate companies are not permitted to take part in the Prize Draw.
By entering the Prize Draw entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Entrants in the Prize Draw must be residents of the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland and must be over 18 years of age.
Entrants shall be entitled to make a maximum of one entry into the Prize Draw during the 1st February 2015 and 30th April 2015 inclusive.
The Promoter of the Prize Draw is:
- AIR OPTIX® COLORS ‘Selfie Competition’ Prize Draw,
- ALCON® Eye Care UK Ltd,
- Frimley,
- Camberley,
- Surrey,
- GU16 7SR ("the Promoter")
Evidence of eligibility to enter the Prize Draw and proof of full registration to the trial will be required by the Promoter before the prize is awarded.
How to register:

- Upload a picture of you wearing your AIR OPTIX® COLOR contact lenses
- Submit entry
Entries into the Prize Draw must be made via the Prize Draw entry page on the airoptixcolors.co.uk website found at http://www.airoptixcolors.co.uk between 1st February 2015 and 30th April 2015 inclusive. Late entries will not be accepted.
The prizes available to win are:
- £500 M.A.C Make Up Hamper
- £500 Digital SLR Camera
- £500 House of Fraser vouchers for Personal Shopping experience
- 100 runners up will receive a FREE 2 months’ supply of AIR OPTIX COLORS worth £50 / €50 (dispensed through your Eye Care Professional with a valid contact lens prescription or plano)
The Prize is not transferrable and no cash or other alternative to the prizes will be offered. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time. Prizes are awarded at the Promoters discretion and no prizes will be awarded as a result of improper actions by or on behalf of any entrant.
All taxes, insurance, transfers, spending money and other expenses (including meals or personal expenses, upgrades etc) as they case may be, unless specifically stated, are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
The process for selecting and identifying the winning entries will be reviewed by an independent person.
The promoter is not liable for non- or late receipt of any entry due to operator or network error, or for any associated cost to entrants. Proof of sending is not accepted as proof of receipt.
The promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the operation of the competition, or to be acting in any manner deemed by the promoter to be in violation of the Terms and Conditions; or to be acting in any manner deemed by the promoter to be disruptive.
The winner will be notified within 7 (seven) days of the closing date, and if the winner cannot be contacted within a further 28 (twenty-eight) days the promoter reserves the right to withdraw prize entitlement and award that prize to a reserve selected at the same time as the original.
In the event that the winning entrant in the Prize Draw does not satisfy the terms and conditions of entry within 21 days of a request via the email address they supplied when entering the Prize Draw the prize will not be awarded.
The prize will be dispatched within 4 weeks of validation of a winning entry. The Promoter does not take responsibility for delays in supplying prizes where this is due to delays of the third party supplier or for failure to deliver the prize through no fault of the Promoter.
Winning entrant will be responsible for any personal expenses incurred in redeeming their prize such as travel and subsistence.
Winning entrant may be asked to participate in reasonable, unpaid publicity relating to the Prize Draw by the Promoter.
This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any other companies or brands.
All personal data provided by entrants when entering the Prize Draw will be held in accordance with the Alcon® Privacy Policy which can be viewed at http://www.alcon.com/en/privacy-policy.aspx. Personal data supplied by entrants will only be used for the purposes of notifying winner, confirming the name and county of winning entrant when requested and internally by the Promoter for the purposes of analysing the results of the Prize Draw.
A list of Prize Draw winning names and counties will be available from the Promoter, on written request, from 1st March 2015.
In the event of any dispute, the decision of the authorised representative of the Promoter will be final and binding.
The Promoter, its agents and servants accept no liability for any losses or damages incurred by entrants in the Prize Draw as a result of accepting, using or redeeming their prize.
Any question concerning the legal interpretation of these terms and conditions will be based on English law and subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
Please print a copy of these terms and conditions for your records as they will only be available online until 28th February 2015.
